Natalia & Gabriel

Can Ribas

Natalia and Gabriel chose vibrant Barcelona as the place to celebrate their union. With family coming from both Venezuela and the U.S., their wedding was a beautiful gathering rooted in their Latin heritage. Natalia had seen our past weddings and reached out, drawn to a specific style and vision she hoped to bring to life for her own special day.

The bride envisioned a minimalist yet sophisticated floral design, with a focus on single white roses, baby’s breath, and soft candlelight. She loved the simplicity of visible stems and the timeless beauty of all-white florals, with subtle touches of greenery. This vision shaped the overall look, resulting in a timeless and elegant atmosphere.

Following tradition, the bride and groom chose to get ready separately on the morning of the wedding. Each was surrounded by a small group of close friends from their wedding party. The bride prepared for the day at the elegant Hotel Almanac, while the groom got ready at the stylish Hotel Nobu in Sants, both spaces set a calm and exciting tone to the beginning of the celebration.

The couple chose to be married at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception and Assumption of Our Lady, a historic church in the heart of Barcelona. Originally the Jonqueres Monastery, the structure was carefully moved stone by stone to preserve its legacy. With its beautiful interior and rich history, the church held special meaning for the couple, making it the perfect place to exchange their vows.

For the ceremony, the bride wore an elegant, traditional gown with delicate lace that flowed down her arms and a classic sweetheart neckline. Later, she changed into a fun, short party dress with layers of tulle and lace that moved beautifully as she danced. Both looks were personalised by YolanCris Bridal, including a pair of custom trainers with matching lace detail which added a playful and personal touch to her celebration.

The couple chose Can Ribas de Montbui as their wedding venue which is a beautiful 16th-century Catalan farmhouse nestled in the Vall del Tenes, just north of Barcelona. Surrounded by nature and full of rustic charm, it offered the perfect mix of tradition and warmth for their celebration. Their beloved dog joined them for the bride and groom photoshoot, adding a personal touch to the day!
The cocktail hour took place in the garden terrace, where white florals were thoughtfully placed around the space, including the circular cocktail bar, adding a fresh and elegant touch. Guests mingled and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere as DJ Tupinamba set the tone with lively, feel-good music.

To close the night, DJ Rich Cabrera took over the dance floor alongside a lively Latin band. The energy was vibrant as guests danced late into the night, celebrating with joy and Latin rhythm.
