Liz & Armando

Castell de Tamarit

Main Wedding Day

Castell de Tamarit, Spain

Set on the Mediterranean coastline, Elizabeth and Armando’s wedding took place at the iconic Castell de Tamarit, a historic seaside fortress overlooking the water.

The ceremony was held within the castle’s private chapel, Iglesia de Santa Maria de Tamarit, an intimate stone church rich in architectural character. The grand altarpiece and historic detailing provided a striking backdrop, softened by a refined monochromatic floral aisle of white blooms that respected the integrity of the space while elevating it with subtle elegance.

Elizabeth wore a fully custom-made gown by Galia Lahav, featuring intricate lacework and an extended dramatic train that moved effortlessly through both the church and the castle interiors. A meaningful coat of arms was delicately embroidered into the design — a personal monogram woven into couture craftsmanship.

Armando complemented her look in an ivory patterned tuxedo jacket with black shawl lapels, a refined statement that balanced classic black tie with contemporary flair.

For the reception, the castle’s dining hall was completely transformed. A full ceiling drapery installation enveloped the space in layered white fabric, creating a soft architectural canopy that redefined the room. Suspended above the long imperial tables were bespoke sculptural lamps designed exclusively for the couple — cascading with intricate detailing and casting a warm, intimate glow over the candlelit setting.

The palette remained intentionally restrained: layered whites, abundant taper candles, sculptural floral compositions and gold circular-back chairs that introduced warmth without overpowering the softness of the design.

The result was an immersive, sensory environment where Mediterranean heritage, couture fashion and contemporary wedding design existed in perfect harmony.

A destination wedding defined by history, craftsmanship and intentional luxury.

Welcome Event

El Palace Barcelona

The wedding weekend began above the city, with a vibrant rooftop welcome celebration overlooking the Barcelona skyline.

Set at the iconic El Palace Barcelona, guests were welcomed with panoramic views stretching toward the Sagrada Familia, immediately grounding the experience in its destination.

In contrast to the monochromatic elegance of the wedding day, the welcome event embraced a bold Mediterranean palette. Deep red florals — roses, anthuriums and layered textural arrangements — cascaded from bars and stations, creating a striking visual identity throughout the terrace.

The design concept celebrated local culture through subtle yet intentional details: a curated paella station, hand fans, sangria served in generous glasses, and abundant tomato accents woven into the styling as a nod to Spanish summer vibrancy.

Custom red bar signage and tailored graphic elements reinforced the cohesive aesthetic, while the hotel’s classic architecture provided a refined backdrop.

A live Spanish guitarist set the tone, creating an atmosphere that felt both elevated and relaxed — the perfect transition for international guests arriving into a Mediterranean wedding weekend.

This was not just a welcome drink. It was a destination experience — immersive, sensory and unmistakably Barcelona.

Day 2 – Farewell in Sitges

Catamaran & Seaside Celebration

The wedding weekend concluded in Sitges, embracing the effortless charm of the Catalan coast.

Guests were invited to continue the celebration with a midday catamaran experience along the Mediterranean shoreline — a relaxed yet elevated moment that allowed everyone to fully immerse themselves in the destination. Sun, sea and coastal views set the tone for a day defined by lightness and connection.

As evening approached, the farewell event took place at Vivero Beach Club Restaurant, perched dramatically above the water.

In contrast to the structured elegance of the wedding day, this celebration embraced a refined beach-club aesthetic. White and neutral tones dominated the styling, complemented by vibrant citrus accents and fresh floral details that echoed the warmth of a Mediterranean summer.

Long tables and relaxed lounge seating overlooked the sea, while guests gathered barefoot on wooden decks, cocktails in hand. Aperol spritzes, curated culinary stations and a nostalgic ice cream cart added playful yet intentional touches to the experience.

As night fell, the terrace transformed into a softly lit seaside gathering, with the sound of the waves blending into the final toasts of the weekend.

Rather than a simple post-wedding brunch, this farewell was designed as the final chapter of a destination celebration — effortless, sun-soaked and deeply rooted in place.
