Kenzie and Lenny, a couple from Atlanta, reached out to us to help them create their dream wedding, just after getting engaged, dreaming of a European destination wedding. At the time, they were also a few months away from welcoming their first baby, which made the journey even more special. After exploring a few options together, they instantly fell in love with Xalet del Nin, booking the venue from the U.S. without ever having seen it in person.
When they finally visited for their menu tasting and walkthrough of the venue, they were blown away. They said the photos didn’t do it justice and were especially impressed by the incredible food and flawless presentation by Sensacions.
Thanks to Kenzie’s trust and collaboration with us, together with Flors Amelia, we were able to get truly creative with the design, dreaming up a concept that hadn’t been done before, giant cloth flowers. Their ceremony was imagined as a whimsical garden scene, with the couple surrounded by handcrafted oversized blooms. The seating was arranged in a semicircle with a round stage in the center just for them, making it feel both intimate and theatrical.
The colour palette was a unique mix of spring and autumn tones, shades of pink, peach, and rusty orange with thoughtful touches like folded tulip petals and a small blue gem in Kenzie’s bouquet for her “something blue.” As guests arrived at the reception, they were greeted by a stunning and creative seating plan displaying a wall of individual stems, each delicately tied with soft pink ribbon and labeled with guests’ names. The florals, in a mix of soft blush, peach, and warm orange tones, reflected the wedding’s romantic palette and added a whimsical, personal touch to the welcome experience. At the center, the couple’s name, “The Trusniks,” anchored the display, making it both functional and a beautiful design feature.
Cocktail hour took place in the garden by the pool, where guests enjoyed live music from a piano bar (literally, a piano that doubled as a bar) accompanied by a singer, drummer, and signature cocktails.
Dinner was held al fresco in the olive tree garden. The tables surrounded a central dance floor, with tall candles and more of the giant flowers displayed beside the top table. One of the most heartfelt moments came during their first dance, when Kenzie and Lenny danced with baby G while a close friend sang and played guitar, it was unforgettable.
After dinner, the party kicked off with a bang. Guests were welcomed to Club Lenzie! Complete with a neon sign, silver fringe curtain, neon hats, and colorful boas. Kenzie and Lenny changed into Spanish Fiesta outfits, making a surprise entrance to Peppa’s live percussion act in the middle of the dance floor.
The energy kept building with live performances from Tu Musica Events featuring saxophone, violin, and percussion shows and an amazing set by DJ Chimi Hendrix, who had everyone dancing until the very end.
This wedding was a true reflection of trust, creativity, and connection. Kenzie and Lenny gave us the freedom to bring something entirely new to life and the result was incredible. We built not just a wedding, but a relationship we’ll always treasure. We hope to keep in touch for years to come!
