Cara & Sam

El Moli de la Torre

Here is a sneak peek of this wedding that took place in the heart of the Empordà, at a venue where Dalí, the master of Surrealism, spent his young adulthood years.

Cara and Sam chose El Moli de la Torre for its authentic rustic stone charm and sun-filled gardens, with orange as the thread running through every detail. Draped fabric, paper parasols and Flors Amèlia’s florals carried the colour through from ceremony to dinner, set against the estate’s cypress trees and old stone archways.

Guests gathered outside for the ceremony before moving to dinner, seated across two curved tables shaped like a crescent and reverse crescent moon facing one another in the courtyard, a striking break from the usual straight rows. As the sun went down the venue took on a completely different feel, the courtyards lit in warm amber with the moon projected on one facade and a video projection of the couple on the other. Tu Musica Events started the party off as GAU served the last glasses of Cava, guiding the guests to the dance floor where Suit & Music made sure the night was filled with dancing that ran late.

Orange isn’t a colour we see often in our weddings, but Cara and Sam committed to it fully, and it gave the whole day a distinct, unforgettable feel from start to finish.
